My friend had the same problem. heres what he did, maybe it will work out for you also.
He went to the local forestry service/city maintenence/etc etc(you get the idea) And
since these city/government organizations
usualy have some of the 1.5 tons in their arsenal
he figured that if he found out the name of the company that had the contract for servicing the brakes on these vehicles, he would go down there with one of his brake drums and have them try and match it up. Well guess what. he did just that, and walked out with 2 Brand New
brake drums still wrapped. I couldnt believe it!!!
So I would try to find out the brake outfit that
has (or had) the contract with your local public
maintenence or military etc. Dont call over the phone. Go to the place in person with your drum in hand. Please e-mail me if you have some success as my friend did. I know what a pain those drums are to find. dont worry, chin up, you'll get'em!!!!!!! Marc
