I had a tank that is the basic cross-sectional shape of the original tank except that it goes across the entire frame giving approximately 38 gallons capacity. You cannot use the rear pto but if this is of no concern then the only thing will be to add extra tank mounts to support the added weight. They also included my tank support straps and the sending unit for my gauges.
The firm that built mine last year builds stainless steel "hot rod" gas tanks and I supplied them a simple drawing for the design. The cost for a stainless steel tank is a year ago $475.00 but being that I did'nt have any choice it was a good choice. One note: stainless steel is NOT rust proof and you willl still need to protect and paint it.
