Mike, I subscribe to the Turbo Diesel Register and they agree with Harry that the best replacement for the Getrag is the NV4500HD. It is made by New Venture Gear which is the tried and true New Process folks. Unfortunately, I was still under warranty and had to have mine rebuilt. If it goes again, I'll replace it with the NV4500HD as the new Dodge trucks using this transmission have not had the same problems. Hope this helps. Thanks, Mike McBeath
