Describe the color in a bit more detail. Is the oil still transparent/translucent, or is it milky or opaque? Depending on the oil, antifreeze or even gasoline leaking into the oil can cause a change of color and/or transparency. Antifreeze or water in the oil will usually cause a milky or choclatey look. Does your cooling system hold pressure for a long time after the engine is shut off? Is the coolant level going down at all?

I've also seen some color changes take place from fuel leaking into oil, though these tend to be more subtle than antifreeze.
