They will work , BUT if he does not have the money to buy the correct axle 1000-$1250, he may not have enough to make all the changes that will be requires.

1st. The frame is about 4" narrower on the new dodges. So the spring pads for the back will need to move.

I do not know about the truck width, but I would measure the 95 rear axle baking plate to backing plate and end to end to see if you will be changing the over all axle width.

2. On the front, Dodge moved the pumkin to the drivers side same as the phords. This is not going to be cheap to change . Hate to guess on the proce or who is able to make this change.

You did not say if it was a 2wd or 4wd. If it is a 2 then the front end will not be a problem. If it is then maybe the spring pads moving is also not a terribly big problem, given the over all axle width is the same. Look at the way the parking brake connects.

Are you going to do the work or have some one else do the changes. This can make a big difference in cost.
