dont know why he blew the axle. you just gotta know this kid. has a 3" body lift 36" swampers and been towing a lot w/ a 3.55 axle. it was making noise and then just locked up. highway speeds on asphalt. im guessing there was some FOD. is there such thing as a 44 rear axle? im going to check out the mounts, brake lines should be no problem. thanks for the help, any other tips would be great.
