M-37 engine swap

I own a 1965 M-37, the motor runs well but doesn't suit my
needs. I'd like to swap in a V-8, can anyone help me out?
I've recently spoke to Bill Chandler who makes a conversion kit
for a Ford 302, it bolts to the stock trans, I wanted to go with an
auto tranny. I really like my Dodge but I can't make full use
of it, any help would be great.
