: HELP!
: I am in the process of bringing a '53 M-37 back to life.
: I need advice as to what kind of tires will fit the 16" split rims.
: Getting custom rims to fit newer tubeless tires is out of my budget.
: I've heard that some people put tubes in tubeless tires and mount them (ie: Interco Super Swampers and Gateway Mudders).
: Is this safe? I was going to use something in the 33" to 36" range to help wind down the old six a bit at higher speeds.
: Any advice would really be appreciated!

If wou want to restore to original, and or do a lot of 4- wheeling, I recomend the original non directional Military Tires. Check out Military Vehicles Magazine or their web site for sources.
I am running these tires on my '53 they are fine and nothing else looks right on the M-37
I would not use these if you want a daily driver.
Good Luck.
