M-37 Timing(Cont.)

Ok, so I found out that the GI manual is full of it when it comes to
setting the timing at 3 degrees ATDC. I checked the timing of my truck and
found the "O" or top dead center mark. Before that mark (rotation wise)
there is a white line on the pully that lines up with the pointer when I use the
Strobe unit. I assume this mark represents 5 degrees BTDC where the timing should be set.

There is another white mark before the 5 Degree mark,
What is this mark? Is it 10 Degrees BTDC? If so why is it there and can the timing be set that far forward?

Also Is there an electronic Ignition available to use on the 12volt conversions of the M-37?
