re:your problem. it sounds to me that you have a major lean problem caused by a restriction in the carb. somewhere. trying to diagnose this with only the info. given is impossible. thecarbs on these trucks are set up to be quite rich from the factory as the unit was designed to be run on rat piss or whatever was available at the time, so even a small vacuum leak should not create a lean condition. I am sure that unless you have a major leak (like a gasket gone) you probably need to overhaul your carb.sWill:
