I'm trying to find out the best way to inspect, and
or remove, the water distribution tube from a flathead
six. I was told by Gary Moonie, that he built a
special tool to remove it. A piece of flat steel
with a hook on the end and he used a lever to pound it
out. I'm wondering if it's possible to inspect it, and
if it's in good shape, maybe I can avoid removing it.
Has anyone had any dealings with this part of the old
flathead? I'd appreciate any feedback at all before I
start tearing it apart. Thanks
