I don't know exactly what your wants and needs are,but I will offer my advice. The 230 engine if redesigned correctly, is quite capable of being driven at 55mph all day long with standard gears and tires. I built proprietary racing engines for years and I build these 230s that last and do what they should. I drive my M37 all over the country flat out. As for the heater, there are still some of the wonderful artic heater kits available from some of the dealers listed in this page- They work and they fit. As for changing the 24V system to 12V, it seems silly to defeat such good quality stuff as the 24V stuff is, and as cheap and available as it is, to 12V. It was almost made to aircraft specs. It will outlast any 12V parts at least 2to 1, maybe 3to1. The turn signal problem can be remedied by installing a military turn signal flasher and switch plus wiring to your truck. these are available from people listed in this page that sell electrical parts.
: WANT INFO TO MODIFY 230 SIX OR INSTALL 360 ENGINE.
: WANT TO INSTALL A HEATER,TURN SIGNALS,12V SYSTEM,
: SEATBELTS,CANVAS TOP ON BED AREA,PTO WITH WINCH OR
: I'VE HEARD I COULD PUT A WARN OVERDRIVE UNIT IN.
: ANY COMMENTS OR INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.BOB
