I recently bought a 1964 W200 clubcab from a friend. I bought it in desperation for a work truck, but now I have decided I have something worth fixing up. I have a few questions that maybe someone out there can answer.
: 1) It has a 383 V8, but I don't see that engine as original anywhere. Is it?
: 2) If I'm fixing rusted body panels, is it better (value wise) to find real panels , or can I create new metal.
: 3) Where can I find some kind of manual or at least spec. sheet on my truck.
: 4) How does a gas guage work? I've got power to the guage, a complete circuit to the tank, but no needle motion? I fear the problem is inside the tank.
: -Also, can you add a second tank without major surgery.
: Any advice would greatly appreciated.
